Valenza Engineering at IMARC 2022
This November, the International Mining and Resources Conference and Expo (IMARC) will take place in Sydney, Australia.
Regarded as both Australia’s largest and most influential mining event, IMARC draws some of the biggest names in mining, resources, and technology for three days of discussion, learning, and networking.
Valenza Engineering’s Director, Alexis Valenza, will be attending this year’s event from 2 to 3 November. Alexis is a Chartered Principal Groundwater Engineer and a member of Professional Organisations such as Engineers Australia, AusIMM and IAH.
Alexis is experienced across a range of groundwater and surface water matters, including within the mining sector. He specialises in:
- Impact assessment
- Water resource evaluation
- Groundwater control and water management for the mining industry
- Dewatering, drainage and slope depressurisation
- Hydraulic testing
- Numerical modelling,
- Life of Mine water balance
- Groundwater contamination and remediation
- Mine closures
Alexis’ expertise covers the lifecycle of open pit, underground and cave mines from concept to closure.
